Today in the ISE class, we did the note card for our resources. It really takes a long time to finish all the note cards. I only watched one resource and I did four note cards for it. I still have a lot of things to do. I have found that doing the direct annotation really takes a little time while writing the summary paragraph really takes long time. However, doing the summary paragraph of course help you more than only copying the information. I really still have no idea about my structure of the paper and I must finish the presentation before Thursday.

Today, is the first day of the week, which is the saddest day of the week. I am really looking forward for the weekend! Weekends always pass so fast which I am really upset about. In the class today, we commented others' annotation and I commented Alisa's. Her annotations are a little bit too short and not specific enough. Mine is fine, but some of them are really too short. To be honest, it is a little bit hard to write the annotation because I haven't read them yet. But I think I can tell them from the catelog or the title. I believe that they are all good resources and I really hope them can help me a lot to do my research paper. Kind of confused about what to do...... How can I write the paper?! No idea!

http://science.nationalgeographic.com/science/prehistoric-world/dinosaur-extinction/ Today, we talked further about our resources and tried to find some online resources about the research. One of my important resource did not pass the check so I cannot use it which is a little bit sad. However, I have many other resources from Google search I can use which are quite useful. Go for it ! Hope I have a nice weekend!
Today we searched resources from the Internet: Britannia encyclopedia, Gale database, and so on. I've found many useful resources about the dinosaur extinction and that would really help my research a lot. I am so glad that I chose this topic. However, I am a little bit confused about the hypothesis of the extinction. It seems like most of the materials are supporting the K-T hypothesis rather than other hypothesis. So today when I found something about other hypothesis such as volcano hypothesis, I was so exciting about that. Hope everything will be nice in the following days. Gotta a lot to do on this weekend.
My topic: How does dinosaur extinct?
Why is this something I am curious about? It is a arguable question which still do not have a answer until today. More and more hypothesis and evidence about this is appearing, so I really wonder which one is more plausible? Does it present an issue on which I can take a stand? Is it arguable? Yes. I think there are many answers and hypothesis for this. It is very arguable. Is it too broad, too narrow? No, it is not too broad or too narrow. Although there are tons of hypothesis, there are many popular ones which can be supported by many evidences found. Is it researchable with in the timeframe of the mod? Yes, I think I can finish this research in mod. What type of information do I need? I need all different kinds of aspect about all the popular hypothesis. The evidences, the reason, and the articles to support the hypothesis. Where might I look to find actual data to support or contradict a position? I think I can find it in some of the books talking about the extinction of dinosaur and some articles and claim from Internet. Today, we searched for resources in the Huffington library. I am really so glad that I chose such a easy topic to do the research. Actually, I think I should say it arguable and researchable rather than easy. To be honest, mine is not the best topic in the group, however, I found it is really successfully for me to do all today's work. I am not sure it is a good thing or bad thing. Probably I am going to be easier in the beginning of the research, but find myself a hard time in the next procedures. Anyway, when everyone was still trying to find their books, I already have all my useful books and I still have a shelf of books as resources to use. What a fortune!
Long long time ago, during Mesozoic, there are huge group of animals called dinosaur living in the Earth. Unfortunately, before 65 million years, they all disappear. How did such large amount of dinosaur disappear? Until now, there is still no research or idea can ensure that how did they disappear, however, there are still many plausible hypothesis. It is so interesting in finding the evidence for each hypothesis. Many people support many different ideas. What is you opinion?
