We did presentation today. I was kind of nervous at first, but then I found that I spoke more naturally than any other times when I had to do public speaking. Maybe it is because this topic was what I was really passionate about and interested in. Though I only had a few words on the slides, my words came relatively naturally. I felt like this was what I had been wanting to say for a long time and I finally got the chance.

I started doing my notecards. It was a lot of reading and note taking. Unfortunately, my laptop shut down while I was finishing my first one, so I had to redo it when I have time.
For future references, I would always save my work in progress and remember to plug in my laptop while working. It is very frustrating when this kind of thing happens, and it is also time-consuming. Today, I finished annotating for my 8 sources.
Sometimes I found it difficult to write because many of the journals are on very similar topic and they have similar views, too. I always found myself writing about the same things. But I tried to dig in deeper into the journals and found their differences. http://www.bus.iastate.edu/emullen/mgmt472/Prime%20time%20diversity%20report.pdf

Ms. Brooks and Ms. McGroarty checked to see if they are reliable sources. Three of the resources above are the ones that I could use in my research because they are verified academic research and they have sources and references listed. I found 1 source on Encyclopedia Britannica, and 5 academic journals in Gale in addition to the 2 books I found two days before.
Most of the journals, however, are about Asian Americans in general, rather than focusing on a certain group of Asian Americans. Thus, I have to look through them to find sections about Chinese Americans in order to better help write my research paper. I also found several articles from Google, one has info graphic, and the other two are academic papers that I could not find in Gale.
