cI was going to write about "Why there are so few high-end Chinese restaurants in the United States," but then after I search for all 12 of my keywords, I found that I could not find any non-fictions on this topic.
Thus, I decided to focus on something new instead. I selected "the representation of Asian Americans in the media" as my new prompt and typed in "Asian Americans" in the school library catalog, 45 books popped up. I picked the first and the third ones, YELL-Oh Girls!, an essay collection, and Eastern Standard Time: A Guide to Asian Influence on American Culture from Astro Boy to Zen Buddhism. Then I read the content table in Yellow-Oh Girls! and found an article called "Screening Asian Americans: More Asian Than American?" that related well to my topic. But I could not do the same with Eastern Standard Time since it did not have a content table, nor an index. I had to scroll through the whole book to find useful information.
